Smiles for Bikers - Event Terms and Conditions
1. Participant Requirements
All participants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement. Riders must maintain current, valid motorcycle insurance throughout the event.
2. Safety Requirements
All participants must ride safely and follow all traffic laws and regulations. Helmets and appropriate safety gear are recommended. Smiles for Bikers is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur during the event.
3. Registration and Fees
The registration fee of $30.00 is non-refundable. Your profile will be activated once payment is confirmed by our team. All participants must complete registration before they can log miles.
4. Mile Logging and Honesty
Participants agree to log miles honestly and accurately. Smiles for Bikers reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to have logged false miles or engaged in fraudulent activity.
5. Fundraising
Participants set their own fundraising goals. All funds raised go directly to help children with cancer. Smiles for Bikers takes no administrative fees from donations.
6. Liability Waiver
By participating in Smiles for Bikers, you agree that you ride at your own risk. Smiles for Bikers, its organizers, and supporters are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that may occur during the event.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants must treat all other riders, supporters, and staff with respect. Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
8. Data Privacy
Your personal information will be kept confidential and used only for event administration and fundraising communications. We will never sell your information to third parties.
9. Social Media Consent
Participants who opt in grant Smiles for Bikers and Access Life America permission to tag, mention, and publish content featuring their rider profile — including their biker name, fundraising progress, and any photos they upload — on Instagram and Facebook for the purpose of promoting the event and fundraising campaign. This consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the event organizers. If you provide your Instagram or Facebook handle, it may be used to tag you directly in posts. Your handles will not be shared with any third parties outside of this fundraising campaign.
